Pythagorean letter values

Latin letters (English, Vietnamese without accents, and plates with Latin letters) use this table. The name's total is reduced to a single digit, keeping the master numbers 11, 22 and 33.

Frequently asked questions

How is a plate total calculated?

It is two parts added together: the value of the letters plus the sum of every digit on the plate. Thai letters use the order of the Thai alphabet (the first consonant is 1, the second 2 and so on); Latin letters use the Pythagorean table. The result is the total that numerology reads.

Which plate totals count as good?

Totals the tradition often praises are 9, 15, 19, 24, 42, 45, 46, 54, 55, 56, 59 and 65; totals it often warns about are 16, 17, 26, 27, 37 and 87. Still, the total is only one factor, so look at the pairs on the plate too.

Does a plate really affect driving?

It is a belief with no scientific evidence. What really affects safety is the condition of the car, care on the road, and not driving when sleepy or after drinking.

How should I type the plate?

Type letters and digits as they appear, for example 1AB 2345; the tool separates them. Digits alone also work, but then the total leaves out the letters.
